Her Laughteri will miss her most especially now it is christmas. her infectious laugh we can no longer share. her magnetic presence is gone far away. her welcoming warm smile and loving disposition, i can experience no longer. i will miss her chatting away in her very strong dominican accent. i am still in shock, and will be for a while. i tried my best not to cry, but that did not work. from the lowering of the casket, that was it. this numbness will last a long time. but like uncle david told me on monday, "God has taken back his angel who he lent to us, to make us all happier, better people". i will always remember her, she will be missed terribly, especially now at christmas when we always spent so much time together. i love you Aunty Betty, keep laughing and smiling. we will see you again • • • • • |
