well i had a spa day yesterday. got my hair washed and trimmed, a facial and a back-facial. it was very relaxing. and even better i got it all done in the comfort of my home, the girl came here and did it. she even had this feng shui cd, very calming. i was dozing off all de time. not one shit to report. i am just at home, sleeping and watching tv. doan go nowhere. not bothered either, the only thing i miss is the beach. i hate this yellow colour i am. yuck. hope all is well with u all.*** good luck to those studying for exams. *** so i dislike the nurse that did my dressing on wednesday. she was clumsly. my regular nurse, nurse mayers, told her to pour the hydrogen peroxide directly into the hole and then use the gauze to clean it out. YOU BELIEVE the woman drop the basin with the hydrogen peroxide on my back!!!!!!!! :. i was like wtf!!! then she was touching all the gauze with her hands, she didnt even put on any gauze. schuuuuuuuuuuuuupes. my mom had to show her how to tape it down when she was finished. schuuuuuuuuupes. then i had a light headed feeling, and went to lie back down, she had already started to change the sheets on the bed, but i didnt care i went and lie down. dr.crookendale came in and told her to take my blood pressure and told her that she should wait till i leave to fix the room, becasue foolish woman stand up dere holding de sheets like i keeping she back. so i lying on my stomach because OBVIOUSLY i cant lie on my back. she is on my left side, and gine tell me to turn on my back so she could get my right hand. excuse me?!?!?!? mind you she can just walk to the right of the bed to get my right hand. schuuuups so i turn on my side, but she got me lying on my right hand. no prob. de woman take 15 mins to take my blood pressure and like she still couldnt get it done. i was soooo pissed off. i hope for her sake she aint my nurse tomorrow, cause i telling she straight i waiting pun nurse mayers. *sigh* anyways, i going and take a shower and head back to couch, tv awaits. toodles • • • • • Sunday, November 21, 2004
missing aunty betty :(today is one year since cancer took my aunty betty away from us. it is also coming up to christmas her favourite time of the year. and again this year wont be the same. i will miss her laughter and her beautiful smile. and going by her for her sorrel. but i am grateful that i knew her and that she was a part of my life. saw uncle david on monday and he gave celina and i (his favourite girls) our special hugs. he is coping. love always. *** on some much brighter news...CONGRATS JAIMIE, ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL LITTLE BOY. my girl gave birth to a sweet lil boy on friday. we went to visit yesterday. he is about 2 weeks early, guess he couldnt wait to get out into this world so that he could keep aunty neysa company. haahhhahaha. i think i going and bade and head to the hospital to visit him. *** so i guess that's a lesson. aunty betty is gone but not forgotten, now lil daniel is here. one cannot replace the other, but life must go on. good times past can still be remembered and many more to come • • • • • |
