things never go according to planhence the reason i hate planning. so friday night was planned to a T. was going to be perfect. actually til sunday my weekend was planned. then i found out change of plans from friday night. who woulda thought would have messed up my weekend plans so much. however, the other part of my plan was still in tact, or so i thought. NOPE WRONG AGAIN! talk about pissed. but alas, things worked out not too bad at all :D. and the one change to my weekend plans that i loved was when my sister called my cell and put my nanie on the phone, she here to spend 6 weeks i love her. de woman is such a thug, when she get to customs in bdos, they ask for the blue customs form, but she hadnt gotten one in tdad. she tell de woman straight, "for right now, i am a senior citizen, i was not given the form and i am not filling one out. i am tired and my ppl outside waiting for me, so just let me through please". and sure enough they let her through. my thug, i love her. heheheheh. she and my mom are where i get my fiestyness from. here i was thinking my mom was bad, and nanie was innocent, but no no no, my mother always tells me i know my nanie now she is mellow. heheheehe. *** anyways i got a headache, need to study for my midterm. toodles taken :D • • • • • Wednesday, February 16, 2005
...i havent shaved my underarms in three weekssays my sister to saran and i whilst picking up the phone receiver only to put it to her mouth and hear my mother on the phone. i almost peed myself laughing. what a great way to continue my day, especially after waking up and hearing that classes at uwi are cancelled today, which is my longest day YIPPEEEEE!!!!! *** on that whole uwi fee thingy. yes while i agree that $700 is quite a huge and sudden increase, especially for foreign students. bajans need to realise how lucky we are. our fees are generally about $26grand. however the government pays for our education, so i guess they figuring $700 is no money. but it is. i just think it is the way in which those in charge are going about this fee thing is wrong. dr.beckles is very sarcastic about it in a dont care-ish kinda attitude. the thing is. all those in charge who want these fee increases, they benefitted from not having to pay it, and so to the most of their kids. i am sure they all have at least one degree from uwi. so why is it ok for them and their family to have the "perks" but now others must pay. that is unfair. *** anywhos. yes carnival was friggin great. thanks sooooo much to the most gracious hostess. she will definitely be missed next year, but not forgotten!!!! going to do some work, and then head to the beach. latas • • • • • |
